For print, promo and sign shops

A missed quote request can send the job down the road.

We act as the IT department for print shops, promo product shops, apparel and embroidery shops and sign shops. We look after your email and quote requests, your art files and backups, your phones, your website and your computers, so your people can stay focused on getting jobs out the door.

See what a scammer can learn from your website and email. Send us your web address. No passwords, logins or software needed.

A busy day in the shop

What goes wrong while the job is on the press.

  • A customer sends a quote request. It lands in spam, or goes to an old shared inbox that few people check.
  • The wrong version of a logo gets approved, and the whole run is printed twice.
  • The one computer that runs the printer dies, and the job files were only on it.
  • The phone rings all day with "is it ready?" and the person who knows is at the press.

When something stops and you cannot tell if it is the computer, the printer's PC, the network or the email, wouldn't it be nice to have just one number to call? (316) 347-7630

Quote requests and email

A quote request you never see may go to the shop down the road.

When a customer asks several shops for a quote, a missed or late reply can put you out of the running. Old forwarding rules, shared mailboxes and email setup problems can send messages to the wrong place or into spam.

We check the settings that affect whether your email is accepted or sent to spam, and where incoming quote requests go and who sees them. Sometimes the fix is as simple as correcting your email settings.

Proofs and artwork

One lost file or one wrong proof can mean a reprint.

Customer logos, approvals by email and old versions pile up fast. When the approval is buried in someone's inbox, it can be hard to tell which version the customer approved.

We help you set up one clear place for art files and job records, with names and folders that make sense, access for the people who need it, and a backup. That makes it easier to find the approved proof when a customer says "that is not what I asked for."

Done but not billed

Money goes missing between pickup and invoice.

A job is finished, the customer picks it up, and the bill may not go out. It happens most when the work moves between the counter, the press and the office.

We cannot do your billing for you, but we can help set up your tools so a finished job leaves a trail, such as a shared list or reminders that show what has been picked up and not yet invoiced.

Fake emails

Some supplier invoices are not what they look like.

A print shop pays many vendors for paper, ink, blanks and freight, so a fake invoice or a changed bank detail is easy to slip in. A scammer only has to copy a name you already know.

We set up your email so it is much harder for scammers to fake messages from your email address. We also help you set a simple habit: if a supplier changes where to send money, call the number you already have before you pay.

Backups

One dead computer should not stop production.

Art files and job records are your shop. We back them up to your own online storage, such as the storage that comes with Microsoft 365 or Google. We do not keep your files ourselves; they stay in your account. We check the backup on a regular schedule, so a problem is more likely caught before you need it.

For the computer that runs a printer or cutter, we document what that computer needs so you are not starting from scratch when it has to be replaced. We cannot promise how fast, but we can make the plan before it fails. We look after the computers, files, network and accounts around your production equipment. When the equipment itself needs service, we work with the company that supports it.

Being found

Your listing, your website and your sign should say the same thing.

People search for a print shop, a sign shop or custom shirts near them and look at your Google listing and website first. We check your name, address, phone number and hours and help correct anything that does not match.

We check that customers can use your website and browse your products from a phone. We can build your website and keep it up to date, and we look after your Google listing.

Phones and staff

One number, and the right people with the right access.

  • Keep business calls and texts with the business instead of on one person's personal phone.
  • One business number, with calls answered or sent to the right person.
  • When someone leaves, we help remove their access to email, files and accounts.
  • New hires get just the access they need.

What a free look covers

Would a scammer pick your shop?

All we need is your web address, the part after the @ in your email, like yourshop.com. No passwords, no logins, nothing to install. We look at your website and email the way a scammer would, from the outside:

  1. Can someone send an email that looks like it came from your shop?
  2. Is your email set up so other mail systems can tell it really came from you?
  3. Does your website show the right phone number, address and hours?

We look from the outside using public information. You get a short report in plain words. You can give it to whoever looks after your computers, or to us.
