For welding, fabrication and manufacturing
The drawing came in, the quote went out, and the files are backed up.
We act as the IT department for shops that cut, weld and build. We look after your email, computers, phones, backups and website, so your hours go to the work on the floor.
Quote requests
A big drawing in a plain email is easy to lose.
Buyers send drawings, photos and large files. If your mailbox bounces them or the message lands in a spam folder, the job goes to the next shop.
We set up your email and website form to take the files you need and send each request to the person who quotes.
What stops a shift
The small failures that cost a job.
- Drawings and job files on one computer with no tested backup.
- The office computer or a machine's computer will not start on a deadline day.
- The shop phone rings in the office while everyone is on the floor.
- A website that does not show what you build, or shows the wrong phone number.
When something stops and you cannot tell if it is the computer, the internet or the software, wouldn't it be nice to have just one number to call? (316) 347-7630
Managed phone system
The phone gets answered while your hands are busy.
When you are on the floor with a helmet on, the phone goes unanswered, and a buyer who gets voicemail may call the next shop. Our managed phone system answers in a friendly, conversational way: your hours, what you do, where you are, and how to send a drawing for a quote. We load in whatever you want it to know ahead of time, and it can read everything on your website too. Anything it cannot answer goes to you as a message with the caller's details.
For a quote request, it can ask what the job is, the material, the quantity and when it is needed, then send those details to the person who quotes. You stop stepping off the floor for calls that could have waited.
What a free look covers
Do you look like an easy target?
All we need is your web address, the part after the @ in your email, like yourcompany.com. No passwords, no logins, nothing to install. We look at your website and email the way a scammer would, from the outside:
- Can someone send an email that looks like it came from your shop?
- What can anyone learn about you just by looking at your website and email settings?
- Does your website show what you make, with a clear way to send a drawing and ask for a quote?
You get a short report in plain words. You can give it to whoever looks after your computers, or to us.
Vendors and payments
The fake "our bank changed" email.
A common scam writes to a shop pretending to be a supplier, with new bank details for the next invoice. It can also pretend to be you, writing to a customer.
We set up your email so it is much harder for anyone to pretend to be you, and we keep checking. A short call back to a known number before paying changes catches most of the rest.
Your files
Drawings that stay yours.
We back up your files to your own online storage, such as the storage that comes with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, away from the shop. We do not keep your files ourselves; they stay in your account. We check on a regular schedule, and there is one number to call when something breaks.
We run our own company on the same setup we manage for clients.
See what a scammer sees.
Send us your web address and nothing else. There is no obligation, and the report is yours either way.
