Computers need updates all the time, and old programs are an easy way in for scammers. We manage your computers so updates and security fixes go out to all of them, and we check that they get installed.

We look for weak spots in your computers and fix the ones we find. We keep antivirus running, and we also set up sign-ins that are harder for a thief to use, even if they get hold of a password.

When a computer is slow or acting strange, we look at it and fix it.

Backups, and checking them

We back up your important files to an online storage service, away from your office, so you can get your files back if anything happens to your computers or your office.

We also check the backup on a regular schedule, so a problem is more likely to be caught before you need your files.

Business phones that ring where you are

A call to your office number can ring at your desk, on your cell phone, or at home. Your callers see your business number, not your personal one.

With one of the business phone services we recommend, every call can be written down for you, with a short summary sent to you, so you can catch up on anything you missed. When you cannot pick up, the phone can answer, take a message and send it to you.

Your phone menu and call routing change by themselves for business hours and holidays. Callers hear the right greeting and are sent to the right person, even when the office is closed. We set it up and look after it, so you do not have to.

We design and build your website from scratch, made for your business and not copied from a template. It keeps your logo and photos, is easy to read on a phone, and has a contact form that blocks spam. Before it goes live, you see it first, and nothing changes until you say so.

Many people think a website is finished once it goes up. It is not. Sites need updates, checks for weak spots and backups, just like your computers, especially if yours keeps a list of people or stores information. We look after all of that.

We also set up the things that help people find you. That means the settings behind your site that help search engines understand who you are and where you work, known as search engine optimization, or SEO. No one can promise to put you first in search results, but we fix what we find that could hold you back.

Your business on the web: listings and registrations

Your business shows up in many places online: search sites, map apps, business directories, and more. If your name, address or phone number is wrong or different in any of them, customers get confused and search engines may show you less.

We register your business where it belongs, fix what is wrong, and work to keep everything the same everywhere. When something changes, like a new phone number or new hours, we update all of them.

Social media, posted for you

We need you to give us the content: the news, the photos, the things you want people to know. We do the rest.

We create the graphics and videos, write the posts, and post them automatically to your social media pages on a schedule, so your pages stay active without you having to think about it.

New people, set up right

When someone new starts, we create their work account and email in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, give them the right programs, and set up their computer, phone and files, so they can be ready to work on day one when we have a little notice.

We turn on the extra sign-in step that keeps their account safe, give them access to only the folders they need, and set up their email signature. Then we walk them through it the first time they sign in, so no one is left guessing.

Your accounts stay yours, and we keep track of every one

Every account we set up stays in your company's name. You own them. We manage them for you.

We create each account through one company IT address, then hand out accounts to the people who need them. That way they never belong to one employee's personal email, and you are not locked out of your own systems.

The important part is keeping track. We keep a list of who has which account. A year from now, when someone leaves, we already know about the other accounts they have, and we shut each one off. That makes it much less likely that a former employee keeps the keys to a system nobody knew to turn off.

Computers ready the day someone starts

In some cases we can help you set up a business account with a computer seller that connects to your work accounts. Then new computers can be shipped straight to your new hire, already set up. That leaves much less for your office to unbox, install or configure.

When someone leaves, we can keep their computer for you. We wipe it, refresh it and store it, so it is ready for the next person. That way spare equipment does not sit in a closet, forgotten and out of date.

When someone leaves

As soon as you tell us, we shut off their access, so they cannot read your files or send mail as your office.

Their email does not disappear. We keep it, give their manager access, and turn on an automatic reply so people who write to them hear back from the right person. We take them off your other business programs too, so you stop paying for seats no one is using. If they come back later, we turn everything back on.

A checkup and a short report on your IT

From time to time we look over your accounts, computers and security. We check who is signing in, who has not signed in for a long time, and which accounts you are paying for but no one uses.

We can then send you a short report in plain words. It tells you what is working, what is not, and what you can do to make things better.

It also shows where you can save money, like subscriptions you can cancel or plans that cost more than you need. That helps you fix weak spots and cut waste sooner.

Passwords and locked-out people

We also check that everyone has the extra sign-in step turned on, and we follow up with anyone who has not.

Files, folders and who can see them

We set up shared folders so each person sees what they need and nothing more. When someone new needs the finance folder, or someone needs to lose access, we change it quickly.

If a file is deleted by mistake, or you need a file from someone who has left, we try to get it back from the backup.
