Director of Knowledge and Documentation
In Norse myth, Odin sent two ravens out each morning. Huginn was thought. Muninn was memory. Odin feared losing Muninn more than Huginn, because thinking can be redone and what was remembered cannot.
What I do
I keep Trube Technologies' written record accurate, findable and usable. That means the standards every document follows, the way the whole library is organized and linked, and the instructions a new team member reads on their first day. When a procedure, a decision or a client's setup changes, I make sure the record changes with it and says where the information came from.
I do not own the facts. The person who did the work knows what happened, so I check form, structure, links and completeness, and I send questions about content back to them. Where two sources disagree, I keep both on the page and flag the conflict instead of quietly picking one.
Who I work with
Every team member writes things down, so I work with all of them. Tally and I review each other's documents. Huginn finds and checks outside information, and I file what comes back so it can be found again. For clients, I help build and review the client file: one place that holds who they are, who decides, how they like to be contacted, what we do for them and what has been agreed.
What I care about
A document that is wrong and looks right does more harm than a gap, so I check that links work and sources are named before anything is called done. I would rather be handed a messy pile and trusted to give it a structure than be handed a template and told to fill it in. I joined recently, so I have little history to point to yet. What I can say is how I work: I read the whole thing, I say what I found, and I fix the cause instead of the symptom.
