The basics

What does Trube Technologies do?

We provide managed IT and related technology services for small and mid-sized businesses and for private households: computers, accounts, email, security, business phones, websites, and technology leadership. Each managed IT client has a named primary technologist who knows the environment.

Who is Trube Technologies for?

Companies that have outgrown "whoever in the office knows computers" but do not need a full IT department, and families who want ongoing help with household technology. We have pages for many trades and professions, from contractors to clinics. A page being listed does not by itself represent a customer relationship or a regulatory qualification.

Where are you located and where do you work?

Our office is in Haysville, Kansas. We provide onsite service in the Wichita and Sedgwick County area. Remote services are available to clients throughout the United States; services requiring on-site work are subject to location and availability. See our Wichita-area page.

Who will I actually talk to?

A named primary technologist who knows your environment. Other qualified personnel may assist. Meet the team.

Do you run a ticket queue?

You contact us directly instead of navigating a call center or anonymous help-desk handoff. We acknowledge the request and prioritize it under the response and support terms in your agreement. Read how our support model works.

What are your support hours and what happens after hours?

Support hours, urgent-issue handling and response expectations are defined in your service agreement. Contact us and we will confirm them for your situation before you sign anything.

How do I get started?

Contact us and tell us as little or as much as you like. Your message is reviewed by a member of our team. Start on the contact page. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment-card information, medical records or other highly sensitive information through the form; we will provide an appropriate secure channel when needed. The process after that is described on How We Work.

Pricing and billing

How much does it cost?

We recommend a plan sized to your team and provide the scope, pricing, and terms in writing before you sign anything. Current pricing details are available on request; contact us and a written proposal will follow.

How am I billed?

See billing and payment terms. If your service agreement states different terms, your agreement controls.

Are there long contracts?

Your service agreement states the term and applicable renewal or termination provisions before you sign. The executed agreement controls.

How support works

What counts as support?

Fixing problems, onboarding and offboarding people, administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, device support, security, and advice. Your service agreement defines the services included.

What do I get in the first month?

We inventory the technology accounts, subscriptions and access that we can identify with your cooperation: your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environment, hosting, payment or booking systems and other subscriptions. It gives you a clearer record of who has access to what.

How do I reach you when something breaks?

You contact us directly. Support channels and hours are defined in your service agreement. Many problems can be fixed remotely. If something needs a person on site, we arrange it subject to your plan, service area, scheduling and any applicable onsite charges.

Can you work with our existing IT person or vendor?

Often, yes. We will tell you honestly where we fit and where we do not before you commit.

What if I am not happy with the service?

Tell us. The person responsible for your account handles it directly. Your service agreement explains how to end it.

Do you take over from my current provider?

Yes. We can manage the transition. We inventory the systems and access made available to us so the handover is organised.

What happens when an employee leaves?

When an authorized client contact requests an offboarding, we disable the departing user's managed access according to the client's approved offboarding process. We also offer equipment transitions for returned laptops.

Security and devices

What is patch management?

It keeps supported operating systems and software current by deploying available updates according to the applicable management policy, reducing exposure to known vulnerabilities. See endpoint management.

How much does endpoint management cost?

Endpoint management is included in company IT packages as stated in your plan. Standalone pricing is quoted in writing.

Do I need to replace my antivirus?

Not necessarily. We evaluate what you already have and retain it if it is compatible; otherwise we recommend a supported option.

Can someone send email that looks like it is from my company?

Possibly, if your email is not set up to prevent it. Our free email protection checker tests your domain's published email-authentication records. It is not a comprehensive security assessment. Our article explains how it works.

Where is my company's data stored?

Your primary files remain in your organization's Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environment. Some services we provide, such as backup or monitoring tools, may process or retain protected copies or related metadata. Your organization owns the tenant and data; any administrative access granted to TrubeTech is documented. Our services do not by themselves make a business compliant with HIPAA, PCI DSS or any other legal or industry requirement.

Phones, AI and add-ons

Can you set up a business phone system?

Yes. We assess your requirements and recommend a system we believe fits them, or manage the one you have. The phone provider bills you directly; TrubeTech does not add a separate markup to that provider invoice. See business phone service, which discloses any referral relationship.

What is the AI answering service?

An AI receptionist can answer calls outside normal business hours, subject to the configuration and service you choose, talk with callers, collect their details and write the call down for you. Callers should be told they are speaking with an automated system, and call recording or transcription may require notice or consent. See Quo business phone. That page contains a referral link, and a signup through it may result in compensation to TrubeTech at no additional cost to you.

What is a fractional CTO?

Part-time technology leadership across the systems, vendors, spending and risks included in the engagement. Whether it is offered alone or as an add-on is stated in your proposal. See fractional CTO.

Can you build or fix our website?

Yes. We design, build, host and maintain websites. Pricing is quoted in writing to the real scope. Third-party licenses, domain registration and e-commerce functionality are quoted separately. See websites.

Do you manage social media?

Yes. We manage agreed supported platforms subject to platform availability, account eligibility and the scope in your proposal. Advertising spend is not included. See social media and SEO.

Do you work with families?

Yes. We provide ongoing household technology coordination for agreed family members, devices, accounts, vendors and locations. See family technology management.
