Services

A backup only counts if your files come back.

Most backups show a green light and nothing else. We go further. We keep your business files backed up online, and we test that they restore.

What we do

Three things, on a regular schedule.

Why the test matters

Backups fail quietly.

A backup can run for months and still miss the folder that matters, or stop when a password expires. Nobody finds out until the day the files are needed. A restore test is how you find out early, when it costs you nothing.

Want to try it yourself first? Read How do I know my business backup actually works? It shows a twenty-minute test you can run on your own.

How it is included

Part of the managed IT retainer.

Common questions

Questions about backups

Where are my backups kept?

In your own online storage, such as OneDrive or Google Drive. The copies stay in your account, and we do not keep your files ourselves.

What do you test?

We restore real files from the backup and check that they open and are the version you expect. What is covered is listed in your service agreement.

How often do you test?

On a regular schedule set out in your service agreement. If something fails, we tell you and fix it.

Is this extra?

No. It is included in the managed IT retainer, from Core up, as defined in your service agreement.
